My 10 year old daughter Libby has now gone twice to Drew’s camps and absolutely loves them! As a hockey coach myself for over 20 years, I understand the importance of a great mix of technical coaching along with tons of fun and laughs for the kids. Drew and his team of coaches bring exactly this mix in spades maximizing the on-ice sessions for these young goalies and providing the best coach to player ratio around. The off-ice sessions are always active and fun for the kids and the video sessions super informative. Drew provides excellent communication about his programs and makes things super easy for all involved.

I would recommend the State of Mind Goaltending camps to anyone. Drew and the Staff at State of Mind Goaltending make all the kids feel so welcome from the time they walk in the door, the on and off ice instruction is great and the ratio of instructors to students is amazing. It was incredible to see the progression in my daughter’s goalie abilities after attending these camps, she can’t wait to attend the next one.

This was Cam’s second year attending State of Mind Hockey School. Cam thoroughly enjoyed the instructors, the drills to improve his skills- from balance to positioning to movement and tracking pucks, to recovery and reading plays- it was awesome to see his improvement from beginning to end. Equally as important were the off ice sessions working on mental aspects of the game and off ice conditioning. Cam will definitely be back to build on his progress as he continues his hockey journey.

State of Mind Goaltending by Drew MacIntyre is hands down my favourite goalie school to attend. The way that he can share his information and love for the game with his students is second to none. The special thing about State of Mind Goaltending is the attention that Drew brings to the mental side of the game to help his students strive in one of the most crucial parts of a goalies path to succeed.

You will not find a nicer guy than Drew. He is very knowledgeable and a real professional! His instructor to student ratio is amazing and the goalies receive the best training on and off the ice. The mental training provided is a valuable addition that you won’t find elsewhere. Drew is great with the kids and is very approachable.
